Sales and Persuasion

Napoleon Hill said, "Persuasion is the magic ingredient that will help you to forge ahead in your profession or business - and to achieve happy and lasting personal relationships." As we all know, persuasion is the skill of the ultra-prosperous. It is how people gain power and influence. It is how people create staggering wealth ñ how businesses thrive, how properties are purchased, and how websites sell millions of dollars worth of product.

Do you think you are persuasive? -- Think again. What we have found through research, is most persuasion professionals are using two to three persuasive techniques. Even the highest paid sales people are using seven to eight persuasive tools. What a waste of talent. Do you realize as you look at the piano persuasion you are playing chopsticks, when you could learn the skills to be playing Mozart! Many top producers stop learning when they start making a comfortable living. Instead of exploding their income and mastering their craft. That's why we all need to learn all the keys to the piano persuasion.

Yesterday's persuasion training no longer applies today in fast paced, skeptical, educated environment. Your prospect does not want a product pusher or those cheesy one liners. Do you think your prospects will return to a hostile environment where they don't feel comfortable? As you master the art and science of persuasion and influence, you will find many camps out there. You have the NLP camp, those that believe neuro-linguistic programming is the key to success. Many believe it's all about the closing tactics they learn from trainers like Brian Tracy, Tom Hopkins or Zig Zigler. Some feel Dr. Cialdini's basic research on influence is all they need. Others believe Dale Carnegie's people skills are the way to go. All these camps are great and are small piece of the persuasion pie. Understand that to become a master persuader, you must learn the whole pie of persuasion.
